Georgia State University's International Cooperative Education Program was designed to bring foreign university students to the United States on a reciprocal basis for internship and cultural experiences in conjunction with their course of study. Individuals participating in this program are admitted to the US as "Exchange Visitors" with a J-1 visa.

These students are highly motivated, well qualified and personally selected by their university to participate in this program. Several companies in the Atlanta metro area have hired foreign students to intern over the past five years and are eager to continue their participation year after year. They've found that this broadens their staff's understanding of a foreign culture and stimulates new business ideas.

As an American employer hiring a foreign student to perform an internship you are opening up a similar opportunity for our students to intern abroad.
